 Summary


As an ESFP, Rachel thrives on building connections with people. Her journey led her to Denver in 2012, driven by a passion for guiding students in their spiritual journey amidst Colorado's stunning landscapes. Presently, she serves as the President of SIA Design Services LLC, where her responsibilities include serving as a client engagement liaison, procuring documents, and providing drafting/design services as needed.

Additionally, she lends her expertise at WayFM, assisting mission-minded businesses and organizations to flourish through cost-effective radio and digital marketing strategies.

At the core of her world lies her cherished family, with whom she spends the majority of her time. Their shared love for the outdoors manifests in activities such as camping, hiking, and snowboarding. While Colorado holds a special place in her heart, Kentucky remains her beloved home state, its beauty matched by none. Together, they harbor dreams of embarking on a cross-country adventure aboard a bus, traversing the vast expanse of America and marveling at the wondrous creations of God.

Aaron holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Architectural Technology degree. With over two decades of expertise in AutoCAD and nine years in CADWorx, he brings a wealth of experience to his design work. Based in Denver, he embraces the outdoor lifestyle synonymous with Colorado, indulging in activities like hiking, biking, motorcycle riding, and snowboarding.

Course Exposure - 

The Society of Piping Engineers and Designers is an International organization promoting Excellence and Quality in Piping Design and Engineering through networking, training and certification programs.  
It is comprised of a headquarters in Houston, Texas with chapters in Houston, Calgary, Perth (still forming), Louisville, Ontario and a world-wide community of individual members.  SPED Training is divided into two categories: PPD Piper Bootcamp and Process Plant Layout Topics. 

The PPD Piper BootCamp covers equipment and fittings necessary for routing pipe from nozzle to rack to nozzle.  The topics covered are chosen to prepare for the SPED PPD Level I Certification Exam; Level I or II may be awarded depending upon years of experience.  This is a solid review of pipe design basics leading to an internationally recognized credential.  A summary of their course offerings can be found in the informative graphic below:

PPD Process Plant Layout covers the terminology and concepts needed for equipment layout within the process plant. This includes equipment placement, spacing and orientation. It also includes pipe routing to key equipment nozzles considering operations and maintenance. A summary of their courses can be found in the informative graphic below.
